Who We Are

A Great Group for All Gardeners – experienced & novice; young & old; men & women, working & retired. We meet and connect with each other monthly. Each May we hold a public plant sale. For members only, we offer a monthly newsletter, trips to area garden-related destinations, an annual tour of members’ gardens, and two potluck dinner meetings. A portion of the plant sale proceeds are donated to area garden-related nonprofit groups or projects.

At Meetings

Each meeting features a speaker/ presentation, as well as a brief business meeting, socialization time with snacks, a members’ exchange table, and a raffle with proceeds going to the replanting of damaged national forests in California. Expert speakers cover a wide range of topics that include drought tolerant plants, trees and shrubs, flowers of all kinds, herbs and vegetables, propagation, landscaping ideas, sustainable practices, pest management, and more.

Annual Sale

Annually, we hold a popular sale of plants propagated by club members and sold at competitive prices. Held the Saturday before Mother's Day, the sale features colorful container plants and other gifts for mom, including items to fit children’s pocketbooks. Seasoned gardeners look for unusual perennials not typically found in nurseries. Others come for the succulents, house plants, herbs and vegetables. A “garden shed” area sells gently used tools and garden décor.
